Manufacturers' catalogues
Brands' technical documents on the platform
Why they are here, how they are used and how to request the removal of a document.
Working version of 26/08/2026 — to be reviewed with legal advice before the commercial launch.
This translation is provided for information only. The Portuguese version is the binding one; in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
The problem these documents solve
A patient arrives with an implant placed twelve years ago, in another country, by a colleague who no longer practises. The dentist needs to know the brand, connection and platform before ordering anything. The information exists — it is in the technical catalogues that manufacturers publish — but it is scattered across dozens of websites, in documents of several dozen megabytes, many of them from generations that have been discontinued.
The platform brings those references together in one place and, where possible, makes the original document available next to the reference found.
The rights belong to the brands
The catalogues are the work of their respective manufacturers and remain entirely theirs. DentGrow does not alter them, does not remove watermarks, logos or notices, and does not present them as its own content. Each document is always shown with the brand, title, year and a direct link to the official source.
The structured technical data (dimensions, connections, shapes) comes from AccessGUDID, a public database of the National Library of Medicine — NLM/NIH, Department of Health and Human Services. The NLM is not responsible for this product and does not endorse or recommend it.
References for brands that are not in AccessGUDID come from EUDAMED, the European database on medical devices (© European Union), reused under the CC BY 4.0 licence, with changes: we filtered the implants and normalised the fields.
How the document is served
- Storage is private. There is no public address for the files and they cannot be indexed by search engines.
- Access is restricted to signed-in professionals with an active subscription, and each opening generates a temporary link, valid for ten minutes.
- There is no bulk download, redistribution or resale of the documents.
- When a manufacturer indicates that it does not want the copy — including technically, by restricting automated downloads from its website — the platform respects that wish and keeps only the official link.
Requesting the removal of a document
If you represent a manufacturer and do not want one of your documents hosted on the platform, just say so. We ask for no justification or legal grounds.
Write to catalogos@dentgrow.pt stating the brand and the document title (or, more simply, the link where you found it).
We reply within two working days, and the removal is carried out on the same day we confirm the request. The copy is deleted from storage and the platform points only to the brand's official website again. The operation is recorded, with date and author, in the platform's activity log — if you need written confirmation, we will send it.
If you would prefer the opposite — for the platform to host updated catalogues, or replace them with more recent versions — that request is equally welcome at the same address.
Errors in the technical content
The technical data is presented as an aid to identification and does not replace confirmation against the packaging, the clinical record or the manufacturer. If you spot an incorrect reference, please write to us at the same address: corrections that come from the brands are the most reliable we have.
